Yeovil Schools

Below you will find a number of events that have been organised by Yeovil Schools for their staff and students designed to compliment the main GOYeovil events, please click on one of the events to view more details:

Week Commencing Monday 14th June 2010 - The following schools (and contact names) will be involved in the Pedometer Challenge:

Holy Trinity Cof E Primary School - Headteacher Teresa Wheeler - 42 Year 6 children + 6 adults will be on a residential trip to London where the will wear their step counters and have photographs taken at key tourist sites wearing Go Yeovil T-shirts with a Go Yeovil banner. Photographs will be emailed to the Western Gazette.

Westfield School - PE Department - contact Peter Moreton

Preston School - 200 Year 7 students will take part in the pedometer challenge - contact Helen Perrow, Assistant Principal

Milford Infant School - 40 staff are involved - contact Head Teacher Wendy Chant

Yeovil College - 400 students and staff involved who plan to 'walk' the Great Wall of China during the week. Other events are taking place including Hip Hop dance at the Quedam, 'Row the Yeo' on rowing machines - Contact Kath Purnell

Grass Royal Junior School - Head Teacher Judith Barrett
